US extraordinary direction Robert Mueller has prescribed a jail sentence of up to a half year for previous Trump battle assistant George Papadopoulos.
Mr Mueller, leader of an examination concerning charged Russian intruding in the 2016 decision, said such a sentence was "justified and fitting".
Mr Papadopoulos has conceded lying about his contacts with Russians while an individual from the Trump crusade group.
